We prepare the content of our own pages with care. Technical data in the OceanSphere Library and in the equipment register come from manufacturer publications, classification society records and other public sources. They are provided for orientation and do not replace the manufacturer's documentation for the specific unit on board. We do not accept liability for decisions taken on the basis of this data without checking it against the applicable documentation. Where we become aware of incorrect or unlawful content, we correct or remove it without delay.
Listings on OceanSphere Parts, company profiles on Maritime Network and other content uploaded by users are the responsibility of the respective user. We do not check user content before publication, but we operate a notice-and-action procedure: reports can be sent through the report function on each listing or to kontakt@oceansphere-service.com. We act on substantiated reports without undue delay and inform the person who reported and the person affected of our decision. Links to external websites lead to content for which their respective operators are responsible; at the time of linking no unlawful content was apparent to us.
Texts, data structures, software and design of the OceanSphere family are protected by copyright and database rights. Reproduction, systematic extraction or re-use beyond what is permitted by law requires our written consent. Photographs and drawings from third-party sources are used under the licence stated in the image credits of the respective site (for the Library: engines.oceansphere.io/engines/bildnachweise). Trademarks and product names belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
